Nutrition Services

fruits and veggies - we have something to bragg about!

Fort Bragg Unified School District is committed to nourishing students so they can learn, grow, and thrive. Our nutrition team serves fresh, healthy meals every school day at all four school sites — and thanks to the Community Eligibility Provision, every FBUSD student eats for free.

School Menus

Menus are available online and update regularly. You can view menus by school, filter for allergens, and check nutrition information.

Free Meals for All Students

All FBUSD students receive a free breakfast and a free lunch every school day — no application required and no cost to families.

Please note: only complete meals are free. Individual à la carte items, extra servings, milk, and juice purchased separately must be paid for at the time of service.

Help Your School Receive Critical Funding

Because we no longer use meal applications, FBUSD relies on families completing the School Funding Support Form each fall at registration. This form — not meals — is now how the district qualifies for important state and federal funding that supports your child's education and enrichment programs.

Please fill out your School Funding Support Form at registration. It makes a real difference.

Also, if your address has changed, please contact your child's school site secretary so our records stay current.

Additional Information

Harvest of the Month

Health and Learning Success Go Hand-in-Hand

Studies show that healthy eating and daily physical activity have a profound impact on the body and mind by improving the ability to learn and comprehend, boosting energy, improving school attendance and changing attitudes and behaviour.  Harvest of the Month connects with core curricula to give students the chance to explore, taste and learn about the importance of eating fruits and vegetables.  It links the classroom, cafeteria, home and community to motivate and support students to make healthy food choices and be physically active every day.

By helping children practice healthy eating habits, you can help improve their memory and energy levels in school. With Harvest of the Month, you can set a positive example and put your child on the road to health and learning success.
