TLC Motto and Statement of Purpose

TLC's Statement of Purpose

At TLC, we work with young adults, aged 18-22 , who have disabilities.  We work with them to help all students become independent, contributing members of society. We help students establish themselves in the local workforce, as well as teach independent living skills in all areas of life including social skills, personal enrichment and hygiene.

We are located in a house off campus, where we cook our own meals, clean, learn, and get ready for our dream jobs and best life  in this coastal community.

We have strong collaborative relationships with other resources and agencies in the community, including Parents and Friends, Noyo Food Forest, local businesses, art galleries, Mendocino College and more.

We believe that every person can learn, and that every person deserves a chance to be an independent, blossoming member of this beautiful world.

Daily Motto

I am an adult.

I am in charge of my own life.

I can make my own decisions about my future;

Where I live,  where I work, and who I want to be with are MY choices.

I am strong, smart, and lovable.

I am an adult!
