About Our Board
The FBUSD Board of Trustees is made up of five elected community members who are responsible for setting district policy, approving the budget, and ensuring that FBUSD fulfills its mission on behalf of every student. Board members serve four-year terms and are elected by the community they represent.
The Board is committed to open, transparent governance and welcomes participation from families, staff, and community members.

Student voice matters at FBUSD. Two Fort Bragg High School students serve as Student Board Representatives, bringing the perspective of our students directly to the Board.

Board Meeting Schedule
Regular Board meetings are held at 6:00 PM and are open to the public. Special meetings are noted below. All meetings are held at the FBUSD District Office unless otherwise noticed.
