Safe Passage Family Resource Center
helps families thanks to a working relationship with the Fort Bragg Unified Schools, the Department of Social Services, the Mendocino Coast Clinics, and many other Community Partners.
At Safe Passage:
We do our best to serve anyone who walks in! We offer:
* Monthly newsletter, calendar of events, and information and referral about community resources
* Enrollment assistance for low or no cost health insurance for children
* Help for local children with unmet needs with funding provided by the Mendocino Coast Children’s Fund
*Enrichment classes for high school students. See our Calendar for schedule.
* Translation assistance for Spanish speakers at parent–teacher conferences, IEP’s and other appointments, as well as Spanish GED classes
* Classes in English and Spanish for those who want to improve their parenting skills. See our Calendar for schedule.
* Weekly classes and support for teens who are pregnant or parenting
* Mom to Mom mentoring for new moms
* Support and advocacy for parents of children with special needs
* Intercambios, a monthly bilingual cultural exchange gathering
* Low cost car seats and instruction on their proper use
