SENIOR CENTRAL


Seniors - many scholarship deadlines have come and gone- but there's hope! There are still some scholarships listed, and a few more will be posted soon.  Please keep watching.  If you have scholarship questions after reading the website, please ask in the counseling office.


ANNOUNCEMENTS


Library Books and Textbooks

Please return any books you are no longer using.  This is the time of year to check the book list and make sure you have them.  If you have lost any, please come by and pay your fine.
Notices will be sent out informing you of all the books checked out under your name.
Graduation practices can be delayed due to overdue books. Thank you to all the students who have been coming to library early and checking their book list.

If you are registered for the May 6 SAT-- be warned Please know that there is an event at the stadium that morning which will bring hundreds of people (and cars.)  Parking will be a challenge.  Please do whatever necessary to arrive at the SAT testing room well before the designated 7:45 arrival time: have someone drop you off, or bike, walk, carpool, or arrive early.  You are not allowed to enter the testing room after the stated time.


There will be a Wilderness club meeting Tuesday May 2nd during break in room #123 to discuss our upcoming backpacking trip.


Guest and late passes for the prom are available in the front office and must be filled out and returned no later than 
3:30 pm on Wednesday, May 10th.
All Students participating in Track should fill out a late pass.

Need a dress for prom?  Come to Cinderella's Closet in Ms.Tichinin's room during break or lunch to borrow a dress for $10.  If you return the dress you'll get your money back.


The Roaring 20s is the theme for Junior Prom!

The Men's Warehouse is offering a $99 special tuxedo rental for Prom.  Fliers at the ticket desk and in the front office.  Tuxedos delivered to your home and measurement instructions on line.  Check it out!


Community Service Opportunity-The Color Run is looking for volunteers to help with the event on May 6th- see Mrs. Larson to sign up. Your help is really appreciated!

Fort Bragg Little League needs Umpires!   

~Pays $25 behind the plate and $15 on bases

~Most games are Tues.and Thurs. at 5:30, with some on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
 
They also need volunteers to work in the Snack Shacks
~Contact Chef Amy in Culinary Arts
~These aren't paid shifts, but students can earn Community Service Hours

There are only 5 Saturday Schools left in the school year.  If you need to buy back absences, now is the time! "  The next one is Saturday May 6th.

ROBOTICS - Meetings Fridays 3:30 - 5:30 in Team portable 129


TABLE TOP GAMING CLUB - Meetings are held on Tuesdays at 3:20 - 4:15 PM in room 209.


INTERACT - Interact Club meets during lunch in room 308 (Mr. Arreguin) every Thursday for lunch.  


K-POP - K-Pop Yum Yum club meets in Ms. C-K's room at lunch on Tuesdays.  All K-pop obsessed folks are welcome. 


Japan Club -Thursdays at lunch in Ms. C-K's room.  New members welcome!


LEOS - Leo's club meeting is held on Monday's at lunch in Ms. Morse's room. Everyone is invited to come. We welcome new members throughout the year! 


DRAMA - Drama Club meets on Thursdays from 3:30-4:30 in the PAC.  See you on Thursday!
