U.S. withdraws from Vietnam

Two months after the signing of the Vietnam peace agreement, the last U.S. combat troops leave South Vietnam as Hanoi frees the remaining American prisoners of war held in North Vietnam. America’s direct eight-year intervention in the Vietnam War was at an end.

Volunteer at The Learning Garden at Noyo Food Forest (next to Ag Department) to complete your community service hours, starting this week through April!

Are you interested in making a difference, earning money, and talking about subjects that matter in the lives of your peers!  You are perfect for the Youth Leadership Team!  Come find our booth at lunch time to learn more and pick up an application.  Applications can also be found in the counseling office.

Link Leader applications for the 17-18 school year are now available from Ms. Tichinin (room 122). Current Sophomores and Juniors are encouraged to apply. Applications are due to Ms. Tichinin by Friday 3/31.

Are you interested in running for 2017-18 ASB? Petitions are available in Ms. Tichinin's room. Completed packets are due Tuesday 4/4. For more information or a list of positions please see Ms. Tichinin.

Open gym basketball will start and run Monday and Thursday nights from 7-9 PM.

If you're interested in volunteering at the first home track meet TODAY the 29th, please sign up with Mrs. Larson in room 114.  We need students for a variety of tasks, including our hurdle crew, working in the snack shack, or helping at various events.  This is a good way to see the track meet without having to pay to enter the stadium.

We still need three volunteers to work at the Native Daughters of the Golden West Dinner on April 1st at the senior center.  Please see Mrs. Larson if you would like to volunteer.

Please remember, volunteering at community events looks excellent on your resume, makes you feel good, and helps you earn your community service hours.

Thank you,
