FBHS Advisory Program
All students meet in their advisory class every day after first period. Advisory is an eighteen minute class that is grade level specific. During advisory, students hear the daily bulletin and discuss grade level specific themes.
The themes are as follows:
9th Grade: Make the Most of High School
10th Grade: Careers - Who am I and what do I want to be?
11th Grade: Planning For My Future
12th Grade: Life After High School
Two days each week, teachers navigate students through activities and/or Power Point presentations that address these themes. The remaining three days are devoted to study halls and class activities. Students remain with their advisory teacher throughout their four years of high school.
