NEWS:

1) It's the biggest story of the year, and you're in it!  Yearbooks are for sale during non-class times in room 207, $65 until Winter Break ($5 discount with student body card). 

2)  If you haven't purchased your student body card, there is still time!!  ASB cards are $20.  Visit the ASB website to learn more about all the discounts you receive when showing your ASB card to local businesses. 

3)  BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS applications for the High School mentoring program are available in the Counseling Office. Be matched with a Dana Gray student and make a positive difference today!  Share your heart.

4)  Attention all Key Club members.  There will be a meeting on Wednesday, 9/8/10, in Ms. Morse's room 106 during lunch.  Pizza will be provided.

5)  Open Gym Basketball will take place Sunday at 6 PM and Wednesday at 7:15 PM starting September 8th.

6)  Lunchtime volleyball is back.  Anyone interested in playing volleyball at lunch can join Mr. Bell and the gang Tuesdays and Fridays in the gym.

7)  Pictures are here!  They are available in the Front Office before school starts, break, lunch or after school.

HOMECOMING:

1)  Calling all Sophomore movie stars!  We are meeting in Ms.Calvert's room 207, at lunch today to plan the Homecoming Entrance. 

2)  Hey, Juniors!  Next Tuesday, Sept. 7, join us for FREE (!) PIZZA in Carla Leach's room out by the Learning Garden for AIRBAND DECISIONS/PLANNING.  The more input, the better the results will be.  See you then!

3)  Attention Sophomores!  Homecoming is only two weeks away... but it is not too late to get involved and help your class.  Make sure you attend the meetings.

                         Wednesday, 9/8- Walls in Ms. Calvert's room (207)

SENIOR INFO:

1)  The last day to register for the October 9th SAT is September 10, 2010.  Visit the counseling office today if you need help with registration.  

2)  The last day to register for the October 23rd  ACT is September 17, 2010.  Visit the counseling office today if you need help with registration. 

3)  All seniors need to submit a senior portrait to Mrs. Calvert for the 2010-2011 yearbook.  If If you would like to use a student photographer, visit Mrs. Calvert today.  Portraits are due to the yearbook staff by November 1, 2010.

HEALTH TIP:

Check out the aquatic center on Lincoln and Maple and enjoy swimming a few laps or use their fitness room.

ASSETs:

Academic help is available after school in room 111 with Ms. Tichinin.  Computer labs 20/21 are open every day before and after school.  

Video Gaming Club begins this afternoon in room 126 with Mr. Carr!  If you haven't enrolled for this program yet, just stop in this afternoon and we'll make sure to give you enrollment forms.
