NEWS:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              

  1. The library is open at lunch every day, with bilingual tutors available.
  2. Poetry meeting TODAY at lunch.  Please come to Ms. Inwood’s to share your poems.
  3. No tennis practice TODAY (3/12) or Monday (3/15).  See you Tuesday!
  4. ASB meeting Monday, 3rd period.
  5. Attention MESA Students-the next MESA meeting will be Monday at 12:40 in Ms. Musgrove's room.  We will be handing out permission slips for MESA Day, going over the solo math test, and discussing upcoming fundraisers.  The meeting will be short but we need ALL MESA students there.  Please be on time.  Thank you!
  6. Do you have a job and want to be featured in the yearbook?  Please stop by rm. 207 to sign up by TODAY.
  7. Attention siblings at FBHS, yearbook needs you!  Stop by rm. 207 to be featured in the yearbook by TODAY.
  8. Got a cool car?  Want it featured in the yearbook?  Come to room 207 and sign up by TODAY.
  9. Attention FBHS Students:  do you have an exotic pet that’s NOT a cat or dog?  If so, please bring a picture of your pet to the photo room (Mrs. Calvert).  TODAY is the last day!  We need pictures so we can finish the yearbook!!
  10. Juniors!!  SAT Registration!  The deadline for the May 1st SAT is March 25th.  You can register online at collegeboard.com or you can attend the WORKSHOP to register for the test on Monday, March 22nd at LUNCH and from 3:15pm – 4:30pm in Lab 20.  We will have FEE Waivers for those who qualify for Free or Reduced Lunch.  Please attend if you need help registering, we do not want to take class time signing people up for the exam.
  11. Drum roll please………..in the end of our first week of Pennies for Patients, we have raised over $200.  Ms. Rusert’s class has taken the lead with $120.  But let’s not forget what’s most important:  Natalie is this year’s honored hero.  She is in the 2nd grade and loves to read and do crafts.  By collecting spare change, you are helping kids like Natalie.  Give yourselves a pat on the back and keep on collecting!
  12. Participate in this year’s Earth Day Festival!  The theme is “Be the Change”.  Submit your paintings, ceramics, woodwork, or photographs into the student art contest to win 1st place-$75, 2nd place-$25, and 3rd place-gift certificate to Racines.  We also need student performers (dancers, singers, musicians, etc.)  For more information call Stacey at 813-7308.
  13. 2 Gig Flash Drives for sale in the Computer Lab for $12 each.  First come, first serve.  See Janet.
  14. Please stay off the Dana Gray field or trail that runs by Noyo High School between 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM.  Thank you.
  15. You can increase your physical activity by asking your mom or dad to park further away from wherever you’re going!

SENIOR INFO:

Seniors... Didn't have a chance to order a Senior T-Shirt yet? Want a sweatshirt to go with your T-Shirt? Place your order between now and March 12 during non-class times with Mrs. Fairall. T-Shirts $15, long sleeve shirts $20, Sweatshirts $30. Don't be left out again!

Seniors who do a service are invited to apply for the Soroptimist of Noyo Sunrise “Youth Service Award “.  Get applications online at www.si-noyosunrise.org or the counseling office.  Deadline to apply is Saturday, March 13th.
