Modernization Update

FBUSD continues to modernize its facilities. The final stages of the modernization of Dana Gray Elementary are taking place. New classrooms have been moved into by teaching staff and the library and cafeteria are being used.
The next step in our modernization will be the updating of Fort Bragg High School. The preliminary plans for this stage are being reviewed. It will include the addition of 11 new classrooms and the modernization of existing rooms. The portable buildings on the south end of the campus will eventually be removed and a new facade will be designed for the exterior of the main administration building. This stage is scheduled to begin sometime in the Spring of 2010 and be completed by 2014.
When the high school is completed, all of the campus buildings in the district will have been modernized.
