Expectations for all classes:
- Maintain positive behavior towards all persons and property
- Come on-time, prepared to work, with materials needed.
- Be engaged in school work the entire period.
- Follow teacher instructions and all school rules.
Academic Improvement Program - Course Objectives
1.Develop organizational & study skills
2. Get assistance with homework
3. Use technology to increase school and job success
Grades based on:
1) Daily warm-up assignment
2. participation/ work completion - daily points averaged weekly
2) organization - backpack - weekly check
Careers/workabilty - Course Objectives:
Develop self-awareness through interest, skill, and strengths assessments
Learn skills for obtaining and keeping a job
Participate in the volunteer and internship job program in collaboration with our job coach and our TPP (transition partnership program) specialist.
