What do I do if I am absent?
| Make-Ups? Students will be allowed to make-up excused absences only. Make-up sessions will be scheduled and supervised by the Physical Education Department staff before school (0 period) or lunch periods (after school arrangements can be made if needed). Students can also attend an after school ASSETS activity class to make up excused absences (bring a signed note to instructor showing that you attended ASSETS and what activity you participated in). Make up work will be determined on individual basis by meeting with the teacher. Students have the choice to either participate in an activity for a set amount of time or run/jog a mile. Make-up work must be undertaken within a week of the student's return to class. If make-up work is not completed as outlined above the student will not receive any points for the day missed. The student is responsible for reporting to his or her regular teacher when make-up work has been completed. |
